Diafani Karpathos
Diafani is located in the Northeast of the island and is 50 km from the capital of Karpathos. It is the port of the historic village of Olympus and gradually evolved into the established gateway of contact of the North Karpathos with the outside world since it has the port facilities.
Diafani has several hotel businesses, cafes, restaurants, and two supermarkets.
Diafani is, among other things, the base of three small dayboats that move on a daily basis, during the summer season, visitors to and from the nearby, extremely quiet, beaches. In summer there is also a daily connection of Diafani with day ferries with the island of Saria and with the capital of the island, Pigadia.
In the village, there is also a travel agency throughout the year.
